    Team Logo

    • With glow to give it a more eSports feel

    My thought process for the logo design was that I wanted to incorporate the username that I use for all my social media “Shiroi Fenrir”. Fenrir being a mythological wolf in Norse mythology, so I wanted to include a wolf in the design. Shiro is Japanese for white so I wanted to have that as the main color, with a cool color scheme (blue) to accompany it. I already had the main idea of the logo and the color scheme that I wanted. My first designs had just the white wolf with the chains, because that’s kind of the design of the Fenrir but I didn’t like how it looked, so I saw the example that show the design being separated by two colors I tried that and I liked how it looked, while still maintaining the chains. For the background of the logo I decided to also stick to Norse mythology and I used the Trinity symbol that is often seen in their designs.

    Simple Geometric Design

    For the simple geometric character I didn’t need a lot of sketching or thought process for the character because I decided to use a very similar idea to the toy design that I wanted, so the character looks a lot like how I imagined my toy to look. I just went with the idea of making that character and mostly just using ellipses. I put some ellipses and then would subtract from them to get the desired shape that I wanted, like for example in the body I tried to make one big circle for the lower part of the body and then adding two circles on the sides to subtract from the big one and getting the shape I wanted, and so on for most of the character. There are some shapes where I did not use ellipses like the belt, the stripe on the hat and the effects on the orbs that are flying around him, but I mostly used ellipses and stuck with simple shapes.
